Yet another, Love on the spot story!

I was listening to my friend shiva say with full josh..., 'He proposed to her the very next day she joined college. He was one year senior to her, and he decided to propose to her the day he saw her. She liked that attitude in him and she accepted... now they are in love' I could see the glow in shiva's eyes...! , 'ya..., unbelievable da...'we were looking at her photos in fb, ya she was cute, in fact very cute.... humm! we looked at each other.' No more chance for you mappi, forget it.' 'ya...'  umm....

AmyJackson - Model
Dont we hear this every other day, said by every other person. Every single person wants this to happen in their college life. isn't it? We saw it happen in VA, suriya proposed to Simran and Megna Naidu as soon as he saw her. He says, ' I just fell in love, I was crazy in love', shabaaaa....!

Is it how it really happens? Do you know your soulmate in a spark, the very second you see her? In that case, this kind of a spark happened to me loads of many times..., If I go behind all those girls proposing will it not look real weird? Or should you give it a shot every time you get this in your mind!? How long will this last? for ever? nah....

I don't believe in this, it doesn't seem real. If I get a chance, I will call that guy and ask him to consult a psychiatrist! I would tell him, "There is something wrong in the way your brain is functioning."

Or, may be these words of mine, are coming out of jealousy and envy, that such a thing din't happen in my life... yet!   Lol ;) ?   ha ha ...!

What can dirty money do to you?

Amir Bowling the disgusting No-Ball at Lords
Is there some thing called dirty money?

The recent allegations against the Pakistani cricketers.... They took money to bowl no balls in a test match at lords against England. What can 3 no-balls do to a test match? In a test match, there are almost 600 balls bowled per day and around 3000 balls bowled in 5 days of test match. 3 balls is just 0.1% of the game (fixed), and never changes flow of the game. None of the side could possibly win or loose a match because of these 3 balls .... an average cricket fan like me is least bit bothered about these 3 balls.

But, shocking news is the amount of money involved in bowling these 3 balls(under performing) is £ 160,000/- . Any Normal fan in Pakistan, following cricket can not earn this kind of money even in 2 of their lifetimes put to-gather! Hoe will a captain concentrate on winning, if he is concentrating on, these no-balls ( as per the fix)? Shame, shame and shame.... look at where greed can take you..!

My question to salman batt,
  • If u are born to be a cricketer in Pakistan, that itself is a greatest boon, isn't it?
  • Don't you get loads of money any-ways?
  • Why do you need this dirty money which will cost you the rest of your life?

And this is for you Amir...
God gives talent, skill and fame. Along with it he gives all the opportunity to screw it. There are loads of people out here asking god for the skill talent and the opportunity to perform. Those prayers are never answered. Instead god takes someone else to the top, but when you are on the top, stay really careful, there are loads of people out here who will wait to laugh at you, seeing you fall (like this) !

"Helping yourself" - is it defined as an act of selfishness?

Learn to be selfish!

Imagine, you are swimming in the sea. You can swim well, but the sea currents are too high and its difficult.... There is another person near you who who cant swim well, is in a much more difficult situation than you and is almost drowning to death. You are sure that you can save yourself by swimming towards shore. You are not sure if you can help the person who is drowning to reach shore along with you, but if you leave him where he is now, he will certainly die because there is nobody around who could save him. now, what are you supposed to do...?

# If you decide to leave him alone and you reach shore safe, is it considered to be an act of selfishness?
# Don't you have to save yourself before you could save others?
# Is it a good idea to drown along with him?
# When you yourself are drowning, how can you help someone else?

# Do you have to carry the guilt with you, because you din't risk your life to save him?
# Isn't it the other person's fault that he dint learn to swim in sea waters, to save himself?

I really don't understand where the line between selfishness and helpfulness really lies?

If you help someone and as a result which you fail to reach your destination, would you feel good for what you have done to yourself?

Isn't it better to stand responsible for your own actions and help yourself rather than trying to help others ?

After a deep thought, I feel it would be perfect if every one helps himself in this world. Live and die only for your own actions deeds and thoughts, rather than looking up to someone else for help!

Do we really need to hate it ?

I am always wanting to change from who I am now. A philosopher once told me that loosing identities will make you feel secure and happy.

Does it mean that people around you, things you are associated with and things you own should keep changing?
Which means, should we need to be running away from things you are associated with in regular succession?

On the other hand, listening to philosophers and saints is a stupid idea, because they themselves have no idea what they are talking about.

Friends at home, Nottingham - my Birthday, 2010
Do we really need to hate something if we are moving away from it? There is a hazard that we may miss it later after moving away from it...., so is it a better idea to condition the mind telling how much we hate something before we move away from it. So that we ll never have a chance of missing it any further and look for something new with a full new thought and mind co-ordination.

haaaa....After a deep thought, I feel that..., some things can never be shed off, can never forget, will always miss.... we can try to blame it and curse it and pretend that its sour, but it never goes off your mind. It pains, it hurts but that is the real pleasure and happiness. The more of such precious things you find in life, the more happier you will become.... I dedicate this to my dear friends in Nottingham Mihir, kalpesh, rinesh, yamini, pranav and agam!

Embrace INDIA, An appeal....

This is a stupid blog.. dont read this.......... This is truly Insane! Independence day special...

We had a general chat among friends here in UK, When we look at India from here in UK, it looks mighty. But how did our forefathers (350 years back) loose their Independence to a small group of shrewd people? Were they seduced by a group of white women (operation India) ? Dint they know that, loosing their independence means; loosing power, loosing wealth & respect. when they were ripped off naked they kept quite, and today the small group owns it all and still are greedy. . . !?

I ve seen politics in India for the past 15 long years. After seeing all the silly fight and politicians not addressing the local and basic problems, I had always told to myself several times, "Stay away from India....". I felt its all dirty and corrupt. I thought it is not a good place to live. But,

Here, Living among the world's most shrewd people in UK for the past 2 years, I understand that i am not that selfish, to put up with all that's happening here and just keep away from India. Looking at USA, China, UK, Russia, Europe & Germany ..... who don't mind their 'own business' ( look at the research funding in UK, just to know what's happening in India...), I feel India is much better... we just pick up silly fights among ourselves. Unlike others we are not digging the rest of the world's grave to ensure that we can call ourselves 'happy'.

Yes, we have basic problems. Pollution, caste, religion, scarcity, poverty, struggle, violence, rage, money & infrastructure. We have all the above mentioned problems, but we still make a life ourselves, and eat our own food, is't it? We can feel happy for one single thing, 'we over work for our rice'.

Our forefathers were not rich men. They were ripped off by a group of 'intelligent' people. This has been the prayer of the past generation, none of the research can reveal the future, not even get close to it. India has all good reasons to become the superpower. God has to answer the prayers of a Billion.

Today's real problem is, some of the idiots who are in Indian politics should back off. We need good leaders, all intelligent people come forward and lead us, we are ready to give you the power, lead us in the path of prosperity. Look at us, 'we are a mighty ocean....'

Jai ho...!

DISSERTATION SUBMISSION!

Dissertation submission:

Cycled uphill, why is the university road like this, when you go towards the library, you need to ride your bicycle uphill, and by the time you reach hallward, you are tired, you tend to start deep breaths, I think it’s out of purpose.. Telling ‘wake up’ and breathe... Locked up my bike in the stands, Walked in to the library... had a decision to make, print in the basement, or in the upper floor. Upper level, i walked towards the computers, and was agam (and mihir) already printing. All right,. Damm am late.. 10.10 And I am sure the first print I take out will have mistakes. So, I gave a first B/W- complete copy, and started reading, expecting to find some mistakes.

Agam, was printing it chapter by chapter and arranging it together, in the library in the morning he had his each chapter in a different word file, (dint Saurabh teach him how to organize all of it in one word file? as he had taught me). I was sure that he will miss out one of the prints.”So Agam, how much done”, Agam ,“ I ve done it to the best of all I can, with all the constraints that we had, I am satisfied, I had done so much of research, but dint find time to include all of it in my report, I am just printing it off ...“ thumbs up ! Sekar,” do we really have to submit it by 12.00”, “I don’t think so, they have kept the deadline as 12.00 so that we submit the copy at least by 4.00” that’s when the close the office.

Saurabh walks into the library with all smiles. He had given his report for binding “ hello MR. Sekar, they are taking 1 hour to bind see they have asked me to come at 11:10...!” shows his receipt showing the collection time. He started burning his CD, which he has to submit to Benson. Sekar” so how is your work”, Saurabh, “I have done loads of work; still I feel I could have done even more”. I kept reading my draft, I am sure it has many spelling mistakes, but I need to spot it now, last chance to correct mistakes, that’s the challenge... Saurabh, “Arreee sekar, if you require any help let me know, I’ll do”. “Sure dude, I’ll ask”. ” But go fast, it will get late otherwise it might get late, print it and go off, not enough time to check mistakes now..!”,he is right, I checked my watch,10.20Am, and was telling to myself, “hum I will read for 20 more minutes, cos, 15 min printing, then run down to the binding shop at the Portland building at 10.50, get it bound at 11.45AM, cycle down to the school office at 11.59AM”, I could still manage to submit by 12. Agam walks out, towards the print shop, as i was still proof reading.
Hope it goes on well. Ok ...Ah, yes, I found a spelling mistake in my conclusion (report), and one in introduction. I am poor at writing, I got it proof read by Lincy the previous night and Ashwin has been helping to structure the dissertation for the past one week... and my essay still has errors... Hope i get through in this masters, god, I ll never do a Phd. I can’t...! Ha ha.. I ve not slept the previous night..! Not eaten since 7.30Pm the previous night. , I have my submission at 12(hardly 2 hours left) and I am thinking about not doing a Phd. This is how weird the mind works...
Ok, enough, I printed out 2 sets(final ones) of the report “Saurabh I need your help to arrange these pages yaar, can you fold this A3 so that it fits into this A4 report.”,” sure”, and as he was binding it, Thanks Man, “ don’t ever mention it...!” this time with a angry tone.. Smiles exchanged. I will meet you later on in the day..! , took the prints in hand, took the bicycle, and was holding the printed sheets in one hand and was riding the cycle in the other. The print shop is down the hill at portland..., As i was cycling down,

Kalpesh comes up walking in the opposite direction, towards the library. He had taken the prints and given it for binding “Hey put ur prints into the bag, why r u cycling holding your final prints like that?” Sekar,” No time to put them in the bag dude, I’ll see you again.”, “go fast, and there is a big queue. I will see you in the binding shop again, i need to collect the binding at 11.30”, and OMG is it going to take more time? I managed to reach the Portland building at 10.50. Saw Caro at the lobby, “Denish” this is how she calls me, South American accent..., Caro, “Who look very different with the beard”, I almost forgot that I ve not shaved my beard for almost a month now...! “Yak... work pressure” “I am late for the submission”, Caro” don’t worry, I have a submission form, you can use it, that ll save your time, while giving in you submission”, Thank god, see how he helps, “thank you very much”, J . Yes there is a big queue in the print shop. Damm, I can’t submit on time, the shopkeeper refused to take in my binding entry, as there were many people waiting behind... It is already 11.00. At 11.05, he took my entry, and asked to come at 12.30 to collect the binding. “ o please, I have my submission at 12.00.”, “But there many people waiting, so..”
Ya, all my friends in architecture have their submission at 12.00., Kadir, Bala, Vikas, Tanisha, Jeevan, Deepika; everyone were there in the queue. That’s it, gone... My final thesis submission is going to be late then... As i was standing there worried, wishing some miracle to happen and the binding guy works faster, Saurabh walks into the shop. It was 11.10, he had come to collect his binding. “Hi, when is your collection time”, “ 12.30, It shouldn’t be a problem. They ll accept submissions even till 4.00”, “Really”, I wish it was true, but wanted to do my final academic submission in life (hopefully if I clear it), on time. I still have time, god help. Saurabh soon disappeared with his final bound copy for submission. At 11.35, Kalpesh walks in, his binding was done as well. His report looks like huge. Done, I ve done the smallest report of all...! “Dude this looks like a Phd thesis, huge”... “Aree.. Half of it is appendix man, sitll i exceeded 17000 words”, Mine was 12200 words, the smallest. Agam has missed one page in print as I had already expected, and was getting it bound again. Saurabh, Agam, Kalpesh left on time, by 11.45, this will give 15 min to walk to the school and submit on time.
Suddenly an miracle happenes, god exists, by 11.55 every one leaves (for submission) the print shop, queue disappears and its free..., I was waiting with vikas and jeevan.. and the binding guy offers to give me my binding immediately. 11.56, I got my binding, dint check my binding, gave him 10 ponds, and got the change, dint bother to check the change. “ thanks a lot, cheers”, “ all the best” Ran toward my cycle. Cycled towards the school office, thats a mile away... Kalpesh was walking towards the office... “So soon, how, dude this is not fair” “hey come soon dudes, its already late”... AS I enter the school office, “ helloooo..... blab la bla,... “, everybody talking and sharing smiles.”Huge crowd, Surabh and Agam hav already made their submission, and I managed to reach the office at 2 minutes to 12.00!, and Kalpesh walks it 30 seconds later...! By the time we filled in the forms and gave the reports along with the CD, exactly 12.00, we managed to submit on time...!

Gr8, Hold on, we totally forgot about Pranav, Where is he?.. “Agam where is Pranav”., “ He is at the hallward library, his index got mixed up, he is still printing”., “ oh shit...!”. “I am filling in his submission form”. The lady collecting the report in school office says,” No worries, we are open till 4.00 for collection”., so sweet.. Kalpesh and Agam ran towards the library to help Pranav with his submission. Saurabh and me met Benson to drop the copy of my CD to him. “you guys should feel very proud of yourself, so you are ready to fly” I typical Benson accent. “Saurabh, we should develop your dissertation into a research paper. How long are you here in Nottingham”? “I am here for two more weeks”.” Good we will have a discussion and carry this forward”. He then turns to me and for the sake of...” Denish how long are you here”. I am here for at least 4 more months Benson”. “That’s nice..; good I am sending a mail to all of you now. We will meet for a party tomorrow at the cannel club” cheers. Nice well-done etc.!
Then we decided to walk back towards the library Saurabh, “I still feel I could have done better”... “Dude, forget it. I know you have done loads of work. You did a detailed model, computer simulations, reading writing etc, etc..!” Sometimes even I felt I have not done enough justice to dissertation seeing his work..!” ya, I have done enough work, and I can give all the details to Benson if he asked for, the model, report, images and all, I have spent 200 pound on my model, and hopefully 500 pounds for my whole dissertation”. This really made me feel guilty. I have spent some 60 odd bucks! All right we had a chat with Dhara, Kadir, Vikas outside the library regarding jobs and stay..! Walked in the library... It was 12.30, Pranav was still printing. “Dude, I have not slept for 48 hours now, brain is not working”. Agam was writing pranav’s abstract. Cool, he will submit it by 1.00, anyways. We clicked photographs, all smiles, discussion regarding Mc Donald’s job and professional jobs..! As Pranav walked towards the Binding shop, we( Agam, Saurabh, Kalpesh and me) walked out. “This might be the last week our student cards works in this library”, hum yak... the course it over......! this is not the end. Here begins the real story...! Results, Graduation .... more to come....
