Dreemzz....

Neha, Lincy, Arnab, Ameet, Shilpa, Ankit, Sidram and me at TE
My first job, after getting placed in a campus interview at thiagarajar college of engineering, Madurai. I joined for work in Total environment, Bangalore as an Assistant architect on 2nd July 2007. . . . . . . . We were on training period, 28th july 2007, I dint even have my first salary in hand. (i goy my salary on 2nd Aug 2007). Imagine the kind of situation, when all our office mates decided to get into this restarunt in bangalore for lunch. This was near one of our office sites called " raindrops keep falling on my head".We ate a lot, thali, parata, chilli chicken, meals, mini meals. Any body could have anything that they wished to have... and at the end of it we share what ever we had to pay as bill...,

It was a huge gang, the way they recruit people in total environment is a really amazing fact......2 from Tamilnadu, 2 from punjab, 2 mallu's and ofcourse the majority were kanadika's in the lot a better than what you usually find in many offices (All the same kind of people). We even had an event which I remember, one day our training session began late. All of us were assembled in the conference room for training and we decided to explore how our names looked in each of the regional languages. the event started like this. All of us would take our note pads, and get to the last page and just pass it around. We write the name of the
person, to whom the note pad belongs, in our mother tounge. ("i had almost forgotten tamil")
still managed, and i was writing the names of 20 people in tamil in their notebooks. By the time I got back my note book i saw such a variety. So many differnet ways in which my name can be written (same sound) different languages.

Chinese, they have many small different languages... but the two main languages are Mandarin and cantonese. Mandarin is spoken by 856 million people and cantonese is spoken only by 71 million people. Still the native mandarin speakers are concidered as much lower in social status compared to the Native Cantonese speakers...! thank god we dont have discrimination abased on languages in India.

In India we call 'Hindi' as the national language, but how stupid an idea it is ...!, to call one common language or national language. Any thing learnt, conveyed, spoken writtern in mother tounge is much better than any other different language. Imagine, we already had english as a common language, but why another official common language which dint belong to any of us, are we tring to forget all the variety which has been a part of us for ages, just because we want to speak with each other. Hindi, why do u want to develop something complicated and which did not belong to any of us again. Any of us could not flourish...!

Many Indians from north, west and east are my friends now...! imagine if we dint have hindi, how nice it would have been. for example, movies ... the most spoken movies are in hindi (nobody claims to own it), telugu, tamil, kannada... thats it! , why are Punjabi and Gujarati movies not popular? Because they choose bollywood movies... a language will florish only by means of art, education and entertainment. By now the indusrty would hav had so much to share with so much of variety.... we hav lost that chance., all right lets wait for 15 more years to see if the next generation has kids accepting hindi as their mother tounge! Jai ho india...!
